The pneumatic hammer comprises a housing 1, a working tool 2 housed therein, spring-loaded with a spring 3 in the axial direction, a central channel 4 for supplying compressed air, a pneumatic chamber formed by a sealing element in the form of an elastic annular cuff 5 fixed to the working tool 2, and a glass 6 installed in the housing 1. The cuff 5 is provided with an elastic skirt 7, and on the inner surface of the larger glass 6 there is an annular groove 8. At the bottom of the cuff 5, the rod 9 is fixed with a valve 10 that overlaps the windows 11. Pneumatic sky hammer works as follows. In the initial position, the skirt 7 of the cuff 5 is engaged with the groove 8 of the cup 6. In this case, the windows 11 are open. When compressed air is supplied to the housing 1, the latter through the windows 11 enters the pneumatic chamber, an overpressure of the compressed air in the chamber is created, the air pressure breaks the engagement of the skirt 7 with the groove 8 of the cup 6, the working tool 2 makes a working stroke. The valve 10 overlaps the windows 11. Under the action of the spring 3, the tool 2 returns to its original position, in which the sealing element and the glass 6 form a pneumatic chamber. The invention allows to reduce the consumption of compressed air in air hammers and simplify their design.

- A PNEUMATIC HAMMER WITH A CENTRAL CHANNEL FOR COMPRESSED AIR, containing an axially mounted working tool mounted on the axis of the tool and forming a pneumatic chamber sealing element fixed to the end of the working tool, and a glass whose cavity is in communication with the compressed air supply channel, characterized in that, in order to simplify the design, the sealing element is made in the form of an elastic annular cuff with a skirt periodically engaging in tight engagement with the inner wall of the glass under the action of pressure in the pneumatic chamber, and the inner diameter of the glass is larger than the outer diameter of the cuff skirt.
